We are the first prosthetics and orthotics facility in the New York Metropolitan and Long Island area to use computer aided design & manufacturing (CAD/CAM) equipment to produce precision fit devices.

Lehneis practitioners are trained to seek solutions outside the box and to go the extra distance to do what is best for our patients. Using current CAD/CAM equipment, myoelectrics, functional and neuro-muscular electrical stimulation (FES-NMES), ultra-lightweight composites and many other state-of-the-art technologies, each device is tailored to the patients needs.

In the ever-changing healthcare environment, Lehneis continues to practice within the current philosophy of stringent orthopedic and rehabilitation standards in providing patients with the most comfortable and functional prostheses, as well as spinal, upper and lower limb orthoses for over 40 years.

Our long-term patients, referral sources and insurance companies have come to depend upon the expertise of our American Board Certified Orthotists and Prosthetists. Any health care professional can provide an off the shelf over the counter device but, only an Orthotics and Prosthetics educated and experienced practitioner can design and fabricate a functional custom device.

Lehneis continues its tradition in working with our referral sources, patients and an ever-increasing number of insurance carriers so we may provide continuity of care to minimize our patients' financial responsibility.
