Alfred W. Lehneis, CPO, FAAOP is Clinical Director and Chief Operating Officer of Lehneis Orthotics and Prosthetics Associates, Ltd He was certified in prosthetics in 1981 and orthotics by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics & Prosthetics. Alfred joined the family practice in 1981 under the direction of founder H. Richard Lehneis, Ph.D., CPO, Alfred was recognized as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists in 2001.

A specialist in advanced prosthetics, he is certified to fit high-technology components as the C-Leg, Intelligent Knee, Ultimate Knee, Myobock Arm myoelectric prosthesis, and energy-storing feet, including the Pathfinder, Springlite, and Flex-Foot. He is also skilled in designing waterproof, sport, and recreational prostheses for all age groups. Respected by physicians and referral sources for his professionalism and creative solutions to difficult cases, Alfred has designed and fabricated prostheses for all types of patients, from those with conventional amputations to those with complex needs.
